If possible, please include your iPad model and iPadOS version.
Which language is the app in?
The app is currently in German. Funkelkopf works almost entirely with pictures, so children can play without reading. Only the parents' area contains a little German text – the most important terms are explained below.
Where is the parents' area?
On the home screen at the top right, next to the lock icon labelled "Eltern" (parents). It is protected by a small math task. There you will find purchases, "Käufe wiederherstellen" (restore purchases) and the switches for music ("Musik") and sounds ("Töne").
How do I restore my purchases?
In the parents' area, tap "Käufe wiederherstellen". The iPad must be signed in with the same Apple Account that was used for the purchase.
Are purchases shared with the whole family?
Yes. All purchases support Family Sharing. If a child wants to buy something via "Ask to Buy", a parent has to approve – until then the app shows that the purchase is waiting for approval.
What does the full version include?
All coloring books, "Colors & Glitter", as many saved drawings as you like, all Memory card sets and the "Hard" level ("Schwer") in every game – plus every game and extension we add in the future. You never need to buy anything else.
Can I turn off music or sounds?
Yes. Music can be switched off on the home screen with the music note icon. Music and sounds can also be switched off separately in the parents' area. If the iPad is muted, Funkelkopf is silent too.
Where are the drawings saved?
Only on the iPad, inside the app. Deleting the app also deletes the drawings.
How many drawings can I save in free drawing?
Up to 2 drawings for free, as many as you like with the full version. In the "Freies Malen" overview, tap any drawing to continue painting. To delete one, press and hold it and confirm "Zeichnung löschen" (delete drawing) – this also frees up space in the free version.
What do the "Bald da!" tiles mean?
"Bald da!" means "coming soon". These are games we are currently working on. They will arrive in a future update and will be included in the full version.
